Breeding Rules January 16, 2006 01:21:05 AM
1) Your horse must not be overbred/inbred. Any stallion with more than 6 foals, or any mare with more than 4, is considered overbred by me*. I will check out potential breeding partners so there's not really any point in lying about it!
*Please note on accounts 27534 and 27501, the limit for stallions decreases to 3, as does the limit for mares.
2) Your horse must be of a similar rank to the one you intend to breed with. I will look at anything with a difference of around 20 ranks or less. For example, if you want to breed to a rank 65 horse, I would consider anything from 45 - 85. If your horse is founded or has pristine lines, I will be a little more lenient on this.
3) Your horses as a rule must be well looked after and shown regularly. If your horses are mostly dying and have not been shown, I won't consider you I'm afraid.
4) Your horse must be the same breed as the one you are looking to breed with. I do make exceptions to breed decent quarabs (as they are much in need of help) and appendixes.
5) My breeding fees are always 1000 x rank*. This will only be lowered in special circumstances of which you will be notified if applicable to you.
*Please note, on accounts 27501 and 27534, the breeding fee will increase to 1500 x rank.
6) You must GM me if you'd like a breeding. I will lower the fees as soon as I know you are logged on and will GM you to ask you to breed. I would expect the breeding to be carried out as soon as possible. Now the introduction of stally breeding requests has made my life much easier but to save others possibly jumping in and requesting I'd prefer the breeding to be carried out within the hour.
7) (Update) If I check out a foal you have bred from one of my horses, and it is overbred or inbred, you will be taken from my list, never to return lol.
That's all folks, I'll update if I can think of anything else, but for the moment these are my criteria.
