Quick Tips
* Horses age 1 year every 7 days * Shows run once a day (2am EST or 11pm PST) * It takes 3-4 days before you get your foal once you breed * Horses can show at 2 years old * Horse can't show or breed once they're 25 * The records of retired horses can be saved
Reasons horses die or are rescued
* They aren't fed (feed has hit -14) * They aren't brought to the vet * They aren't brought to the farriers * Put down because of breaking rules or terms of service
Account
Your account is the page where you will find all your information about yourself on the game. At the top of your account you will find your name, how much money you have, what time it is (where you are), your member ID number, and a way to change your password and e-mail that you used to sign up on the game with.
Important
Under this menu you can buy your first horse, the bank, a way to view show results, then links to your tack room and your clothes closet.
Ratings
All players are scored on how well they play. If you are the top member by the end of the month you receive an award and game credits from White Oak Stables.
Horses
This will list all the horses you have on the game. You will also see your horse license that controls the number of horses you can own. With no license you can have 5 horses. With a beginners license you can have 10 horses. With an intermediate license you can have 15 horses and with an advanced license you can have 20 horses. There are other options to get more horses as well, but those require having a stable. You will also see a link to view shows and stable shows.
Stable
There are two kinds of players on White Oak Stables. One type is a boarder, meaning you stable your horses at other member’s stables. Another type is a stable owner. This will show you what kind of member you are. If you own stables it will show you a link where you can manage them. Stables give you more things you can do on the game as a member, like making your own shows, becoming a riding instructor, breeder, horse caretaker, special access to special parts of the game, e-mail, and more! Some of these are still in the process of being made.
Personalize
This is a way for you to tell other members about yourself. When you type something in the box it is put on the page for other members to see if they come and visit your account page. You can use HTML and CSS to decorate your page and link to images from other sites. Some websites don’t allow hot linking so look into tinypic.com and photobucket.com for your hot linking needs.
Awards
This shows you what awards you have won from special shows or have gotten from chat parties or top 10 awards. Special shows are run once a month and you must own a stable to enter. The only special that all members can enter is the WOS Olympics held in the summer of every year.
Racing

Reasons horses die or are rescued
* They aren't brought to the vets (read their vet messages) * They aren't brought to the farriers (read their farrier messages) * They haven't been fed, mucked or watered in a few weeks * Put down because of cheating, stealing, lying, inappropriate behavior, breaking game rules or terms of service * Are retired by choice of the current owner.
