Breeding Requests
From HelpWiki
Breeding Requests – A player chooses a breeder either from a stable owner's account page or from the breeder's link on the main menu. The player then chooses the mare and stallion to be bred and pays the fee. A game message (GM) must be sent to the breeder by the player that a breeding request has been made. (GM's do not automatically get sent to the breeder that there is a breeding request at the stable.)
A breeding request only lasts for seven (7) days.
A good breeder knows the “secrets” to getting the most out of the mare and stallion to gain rank for the foal. Normally, the rank of the foal is the mare's rank plus stallion's rank divided by 3. The best breeders can usually get 2-4 ranks above the normal foal's rank. Bad breeders, or breeders that don't know what they're doing, can actually make the foal's rank decrease – below normal. Thus it is important to ask a knowledgeable breeder to breed a pair.
A breeding request can be made for any horse of any breedable age. The stable owner has the right to accept to breed the horses or to decline to breed them. If the breeding has been declined, the owner of the horses will get an automatic game message (GM) stating that the breeding has been declined. If the breeding has been accepted and is successful, the owner will see at the top of the main account page how many days are left in the pregnancy. Owners of the bred pair must log in and go to the main account page for the mare to have the foal.
Horses age 24 and under can be normally bred by the owner, but to breed a horse age 25, a request must be made to a breeder. Even a horse age 26 can be bred IF the request was made when the horse was 25. Otherwise, the horse cannot be bred and will have no offspring.
A breeder cannot breed a mare and stallion that are on two separate accounts. Both horses must be on the same account.
