On the Racing Register

Feeding is very important when it comes to looking after your horses. If you do not feed then your horses can get rescued by other players.

First you need feed and a feed scoop. These can be brought from the "horse supplies" shop. The best way to get to the shop is to go to the "main menu", then "shopping". Once on the shopping page go to "horse supplies". You then need a feed scoop and feed. Feed needs to be brought for each individual horse. Make sure once finished to go to the checkout!

Once feed and scoop is brought there are two ways of feeding your horse. The main way is to go to your barn and at the bottom is an option "horse supplies and checlist". Once on their just tick the checkboxes of the horses to feed them then at the bottom of the list is "do selected", click this. Once the feed bucket is full for a horse the check boxes will turn green.

Another way to do it is to go to the horses page, and below the horses information are buttons saying "feed", "water", "Groom" etc. Click on the feed button and click "scoop".

It is also important to water, groom and muck out your horse. For these you also need equipment from the shop.

On the checklist, the water, groom and muck boxes will also turn different colours when done. Water will turn blue, groom will turn purpley blue, and muck will turn orange.

Different types of feed

There are various different types of feed. Each one is a different price. The more expensive ones have less portions of feed.

Remember it is also up to the trainers to help look after the horses!

On the English Register

On the English Register, feeding your horse is just a couple simple clicks away.

Go to the horse's page and scroll down below the link to your horse's records to "buy feed." It is best to buy several hays first then buy one mixed feed. For each time you click any type of feed, you buy 28 days of feed for your horse. If you stock up on hay, then buy one mixed feed, it turns all of the feed into mixed feed.

Many members like to buy feed for the life of the horse so it will never run out. Others like to just buy it when the horse needs it. How much you buy and when you buy it depends upon you, but buying feed "in bulk" will help finances later on.
