How do I get a journal?

As an upgraded member, you get an online journal. In this journal, you can write whatever you want. If you want an upgrade, check out the 'upgradeing stables' section.

What can I do with it?

You can change settings so other members can't read certain things that are personal to you. You can even lock your entire journal. (It's like having an online dairy!)

Is there anyway I can get one, even if I'm not upgraded?

No, unfortunately, you can't just get a journal, but you can ask other members if you could borrow thiers, or keep the info on your layout.
