Points

Points – Points are earned by the horse every time a show is entered and the horse places in the show. The higher the placing, the more points awarded. The more points the horse gains, the higher the rank of the horse. Points also lower the grade gap so the horse may gain a higher grade. As the grade increases, so do the points awarded. 

Points are given in both daily shows and stable shows.
