About Me
I'm 17 and I live in Northern California.  My real name is Hayley, but you probably know that if you've seen me enter chat.  I go by Captain or Cappy though, so just call me that. (:  I used to have a horse but due to time and financial constraints I recently had to sell him.  It wasn't easy, believe me, I fought tooth and nail to keep him and I was working three jobs at the time I sold him.  Now I mostly just hang out with my cat who is really cool.  I've ridden every discipline known to man (literally--I'd list it all but you'd get bored), and try to retain a few tidbits from each and apply that to each and every horse I ride. I don't have a philosophy and don't follow any one trainer's preachings, but I DO like Clinton Anderson, Bob Avila, Lynn Palm, Leslie Desmond, Terry Church, Halfpassgal and Endospink on Youtube, and Buck Brannaman, just not every little thing they say.  I do, however, agree with 98% of Bill Dorrence's teachings, because he's amazing.  Otherwise I just keep little things from people I've trained with that I like.  It seems to work, so no, I REALLY don't need to play games with my horses or spend my hard-earned money on Parelli's crap.

About the Horses
I give up.  I'm playing again, for however long it lasts this time.  I'm raising Highland and Welsh Ponies this time.  I'll also have the trusty QH, Arab, and TB fillers.

12/22 Update - AHHHHHHHHH I HAVE WAY TOO MANY HORSES HELPPPPPP

.
About My Policies
NO, I do not usually sell my horses publicly.  I usually either just suck it up and keep the horse till retirement, or I give it to one of my friends.  However I may get rid of a filler or two if you like it, so you can always PM and ask if I'm willing to sell it.  My breeding rules are below in the handy little table, so refer to that if you'd like to breed to one of my horses.  Just keep in mind that I usually breed within a very small circle of people.

About the Shop
I only make layouts or pictures if I like you, and if I don't like you then I'm too expensive.  Price depends on how much I like you.  Yeah, life isn't fair, but if you whine about it then I'll just tell you to build a bridge and get over it.  I also don't make pictures for horses with stupid names, so be creative, darnit.

1. No breeding under the age of 22.  This is so that your horse and mine are as highly ranked as they possibly can be, which will ultimately produce a better foal.  Really, it's for your sake, as I can only promise my horses to be the best they possibly can be at an older age.

2. Your horse must be similar to mine in rank.  I usually only breed horses as similarly ranked and graded as possible.  Five or so ranks below my horse is fine, but otherwise I will probably say no.  Though, I usually do not care about grade, as usually the outcome of grade in foals is unpredictable anyway.  Rank I'm a stickler on however, as I want to produce only quality out of my horses.

3. Your horse must not be directly related to mine.  Honestly I am not overly anal about an occasional linebreeding to better a rare breed, but I will not breed immediately related horses (i.e., brothers to sisters, half brothers to half sisters).  I am okay with breeding a pair of cousins or distantly linked horses in a breed with 50 representatives or less, but otherwise I will not inbreed or overbreed.  This keeps up your horses' value as much as mine, so I will continue to stay firm on this.

4. Use common courtesy when requesting.  Just because I have an open booking for one of my horses does not mean you are entitled to it!  When you're requesting, be respectful.  I also don't want to see a bunch of illegible chat speak in a GM request, because I am not an idiot translator and I really have better things to do than puzzle out your message.  So seriously, be mature and use proper grammar, I know you all have it in you.

5. Breeding fees will also depend on the horse, though I am reasonable and leave no reason to complain.  If you don't think it's worth it, then please, move on elsewhere and don't piss and moan.

6. Lastly, keep up the lines!!  I will most definitely check your breeding practices before I book your horse, but if you do get a foal from our pair please keep it up.  Show it, take care of it, and breed it responsibly, though if you are incapable of that, I will be the first person to buy the foal back from you.  I don't want some overbred, low-ranked horse being traced back to the lines I am working very hard on.  It's just not nice, and I'm sure you would be pretty mad if I neglected your lines, also.

Thanks for reading!!  My breeding chart is below, so if you've read the rules and want to book a spot with one of my horses, go for it.  I normally only breed my horses 2 or 3 times as a general rule, but if you have a really nice horse I will not hesitate to breed mine a 4th time.

DISCLAIMER: If you don't use these rules in your request, I will ignore you, simple as that.

Please Note: My fillers listed on the chart are shown with appropriate tack, settings, and go through all the prep my showhorses do.  They're just shown more (and usually not in their event save for dailies) and are not credit founded.  They're still worth breeding to.
