TA's Storytime (or whatever is relatively close to it)
August 26, 2006 August 26, 2006 10:33:18 AM
Guess I haven't updated in here for a while. Hrmm. Not much has happened this summer. I wrote, oh, nine or ten Star Wars fanfics (fan fictions) this summer, so my brain hurts. I'm working on an eleventh currently, even though I run a high risk of my brain oozing out of my ear because of it. Ha ha.
School went back in session for me August 14. I'm home-schooled, so we get back early and finish early. Not a bad deal, I think, despite the slightly harder work I have to do. I'm also taking French this year (and every year for the next three years) because a foreign language was required. Just think. In three years (I hope), I can write an entire WOS journal entry en Francais! Go me.
My horses have taken quite a bit of a change lately. All but one of my Hanos have retired, the Icelandic stallion I had retired, and my Przewalski and my Kiger Mustang sold. The Przewalski, I believe, was one of the top Przes in WOS, but I couldn't show her enough to do that justice. So, after a break to get my bearings back and priorities in line, I've come back to (complete the training . . . no, sorry, that's not it) breed Araapaloosas. I've never bred those before, it's always been either Hanos or Thoroughbreds, so this could be veeery interesting. My little colt, Excalibur, is doing nicely already . . . He went from rank 0 to rank 4 overnight with the Special Show, and from 4 to 5 yesterday with a fourth place. If he can keep that up . . . My filly, Skywalker, got BIS in her first show. Yay! I'm hoping that they'll both live up to my hopes. There are only 28 Araapaloosas (well, there were 28 when I last checked) on WOS, so I'm hoping that Excalibur and Skywalker can produce top-knotch foals. We shall see . . . If I had purchased one of them with game creds, I probably could have had a nice grade on one of them, but I'm saving the credits for an Olympic grade horse . . . perhaps an Araapy? =)
Well, nothing much else has been happening. I guess I shall go and do something else . . . maybe track down a stable show to plop my wittle ponies into.
À bientôt (See you later),
TA
